Gift Cards

Gift Cards Terms and Conditions

Please review the Terms and Conditions that govern the use of gift cards issued by The Great American Bagel.  In the following text, “you” and “your” refers to the individual who purchased or received the card,”we” and “our” means any The Great American Bagel Restaurant participating in the Gift Cards program.  By purchasing, accepting, or redeeming our Gift Card you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  • Participating locations.  Our gift cards can be purchased and used only in The Great American Bagel locations in the United States where the “TGAB gift cards are sold and accepted here” signs are displayed.  For the complete list of participating locations click here (“here” is a link to the pop-up with a list of locations).
  • Terms of use.  Our Gift Cards can be used only as a method of payment for in-store purchases of food and beverages.  They cannot be redeemed for cash and no change will be given.  The balance on the card will be reduced by the amount used for payment.  If the balance is lower than the amount due, the payment may be split between the funds from the gift card and additional source of funding of your choice, such as cash, debit or credit card, or another gift card.  Any number of valid gift cards can be used to make a full payment for your purchase.
  • Reloading.  Any gift cards with our logo, owned by you, can be replenished with funds at any of the participating locations to the maximum amount of $500.
  • Balance check.  The balance on your gift card can be checked at the register at any participating location or by calling the 800 number printed on the card.
  • No expiration.  The balance on our gift cards never expires.
  • No fees.  There are no activation, redemption, balance check, dormancy, or annual fees.  The balance on your gift card will never be decreased by any fees charged to your gift card account.
  • Our liability.  The balance on your gift card is sole responsibility of The Great American Bagel.  It is not a debit or credit card and no implied warranties attach to it.
  • Your responsibility.  You should treat the gift card with the same care as cash.  If your card is damaged, lost, or stolen, our remedy is limited to the course of action outlined below.
  • Damaged cards.  If the magnetic stripe on your gift card is not readable, we will still attempt to honor the card by using the 16-digits number printed on the card.  In case both these methods of card identification are unavailable, the card cannot be redeemed.
  • Lost or stolen.  In case your card has been lost or stolen, we can replace it only if both following conditions are met: (1) the card has never been used, and (2) you can present the proof of purchase of the lost card.
  • No returns. Once purchased, gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable for cash.
  • No balance consolidation.  The balance on multiple gift cards cannot be consolidated on one selected card.  All cards must be used individually until their balance is exhausted.
  • Changes to these terms.  We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions without notice.  The most recent version can be found on The Great American Bagel’s website.
